Watch Four Videos From Lost in the Trees' Web Series
Back in March, Lost in the Trees released A Church That Fits Our Needs, their highly anticipated second album. The North Carolina group made this album as a tribute to frontman Ari Picker’s mother, who passed away in 2009. Layered instrumentals and soulful melodies make this a memorable record and a welcomed follow-up to the band’s impressive debut, All Alone In An Empty House. Starting today, the orch-pop ensemble has unveiled a web series, which features several videos offering an candid look at the band and its members.
Mark and His Tuba
Mark Daumen has tuba lips. That’s a good thing—we’re pretty sure. Regardless, his contribution to the band has definitely been worthwhile. Check out this clip of Daumen talking about his relationship with the sometimes underappreciated instrument.
Jenavieve Talking About Ari

Ari About Emma
Frontman Ari Picker has a special bond with Emma Nadeau. Not only does she play many of the unique instruments that fill out the band’s sound, she’s also a confidant for the singer. Take a look at this clip of Ari explaining her supporting role in the group.
How Drew Joined The Band
Cellist Drew Anagnost didn’t always plan on being in a band. Luckily, his paths crossed with Ari Picker in an unconventional way. Watch the guys discuss how it started.
