Video Premiere: The Revivalists - "Criminal"

New Orleans rockers The Revivalists just released their sophomore album City of Sound in March. Vocalist David Shaw and guitarist Zach Feinberg met in an unlikely way when Feinberg overheard Shaw playing a guitar on his porch. As a result, the band developed and started creating their personality in 2008, which brought new life into their local music scene.

The video for “Criminal” starts off by showing the band’s sense of humor, demonstrating their willingness to simply jam out and put on a good show. Set in a boxing ring, The Revivalists’ new video is a good metaphor for their willingness to fight it out to become known in the industry—even though a cheerleader effortlessly takes down Shaw.
