Video Premiere: Clare and the Reasons - "The Lake”

Clare and the Reasons debuted a new video for ‘The Lake,” a song from their third album KR-51, which was released this summer.

The video features the band’s typically haunting vocals and gentle sound set to people stiltedly walking through Berlin. Two people, assumed to be in some sort of a relationship, are searching for each other, coming from different corners of the city and eventually meeting on a bridge. “The Lake” takes a simpler stylistic route from their other video from KR-51, ““Make Them Laugh.”"

Clare and the Reasons will be playing shows with Devotchka in New York, D.C. and Philadelphia. Check out the premiere of “The Lake” below.
