Album Stream: Black Moth Super Rainbow - Cobra Juicy

Pittsburgh experimental rock band Black Moth Super Rainbow is set to release their fifth LP, Cobra Juicy, on Oct. 23 via Rad Cult. The album, which includes the standout track “Windshield Smasher” fans might recognize from this year’s EP of the same name. Cobra Juicy continues to push boundaries with psychedelic sounds and a distinctly electronic feel.

Frontman Thomas Fec, more commonly known as Tobacco, spent several years working on solo projects like 2009’s The Allegheny White Fish Tapes and 2010’s Maniac Meat, but made his way back Black Moth Super Rainbow to create this this thumping, multidimensional LP that throws grungy electric guitars alongside electronic beats.

The album won’t be released for another week, but you can listen to Black Moth Super Rainbow’s Cobra Juicy in its entirety in the player below.
