Track Premiere: Sweet Tea - "After Laughter (Comes Tears)"

In celebration of the 10th anniversary of Light In the Attic Records, Sweet Tea has recorded a cover of “After Laughter (Comes Tears).”

Sweet Tea is Erika Wennerstrom and Jesse Ebaugh of Heartless Bastards with Alex Maas of the Black Angels. Giving a bit of a modern twist to the track, Sweet Tea adds a deep dub bass to the classic soul instruments.

In keeping with the classic feel of the tune, Light in the Attic will release the track as part of a special series of colored vinyl 7’’s and digital downloads. You can get your copy on Oct. 23 when it is released, but until then listen to Sweet Tea’s rendition of “After Laughter (Comes Tears)” below.
