Reflecting upon one of the most successful musical collaborations of all time, Glen Campbell and Jimmy Webb In Session
is a CD/DVD release nearly all listeners should be excited about. Out today via Fantasy Records, In Session
comes on the heels of Campbell’s goodbye tour and features several renditions of songs that have become iconic classics.
Chart-topping hits such as, “By the Time I Get to Phoenix,” “Wichita Lineman,” “Galveston” and “Where’s the Playground Susie” all appear on this two-disc session taped in 1983 in Ontario.
With Webb on piano and Campbell wielding a guitar and handling vocals, the two blaze through a number of Webb’s biggest hits as well as some of his lesser known tracks.
The two remain close friends thanks in part to years of successful collaborating. Check below for an exclusive peek at the In Session
recordings, which previews a number of live performances and candid interviews with both Campbell and Webb.
