Nashville’s The Clutters have spent a decade unabashedly playing music that runs contrary to what’s usually associated with their hometown. Their loud, shredding guitar rock doesn’t fit the country stereotypes of Music City, and you definitely won’t find the word “folk” in any descriptions of the band’s sound. This certainly hasn’t stopped them.
Their third album, Breaking Bones, is just as raw and forceful as its title implies, and the four-piece doesn’t let up in the slightest over the course of their latest LP’s 12 tracks.
