Video Premiere: Generationals - "Put A Light On"

Since releasing their inaugural album, Con Law, back in 2009, Generationals have established themselves as the go-to band for sunny pop songs that display all the catchiness of a Top 40 single without sacrificing a sense of technical playfulness.

Their latest album, Heza, marks the New Orleans band’s first with Polyvinyl Records. The band’s penchant for earworm-y hooks remains strong, as evidenced by the music video for the Heza track “Put a Light On.” The video finds members Ted Joyner and Grant Widmer wandering about the city, accompanied by lens flares, strange, spotlight-type lighting and a group of girls prone to breaking out into dance and smashing televisions.
