This year during South By Southwest Interactive, Paste and Sennheiser teamed up to present an array of interviews each day, live from the Blackheart on Rainey Street.
From actors to game developers to musicians and more, each interview was an engaging encounter that highlighted just how much creative energy was present in Austin that week. Sennheiser stepped up the experience with their wireless headphones, allowing those in attendance to listen in on the interviews even as they milled around on the patio in the Texas sunshine.
Jim James, frontman of My Morning Jacket, stopped by for an interview with Paste editor-at-large Jay Sweet about his recent solo album Regions of Light and Sound of God. James discussed the recording process as it relates to analog verses digital, “futuristic” sounds and how inspiration and hard work come together to yield the final product.
