This year during South By Southwest Interactive, Paste and Sennheiser teamed up to present an array of interviews each day, live from the Blackheart on Rainey Street.
From actors to game developers to musicians and more, each interview was an engaging encounter that highlighted just how much creative energy was present in Austin that week. Sennheiser stepped up the experience with their wireless headphones, allowing those in attendance to listen in on the interviews even as they milled around on the patio in the Texas sunshine.
LeVar Burton was kind enough to stop in on our event at The Blackheart, even sticking around after his interview to hang out, to the delight of several fans in the audience. The actor is known for his roles in popular titles like Roots and Star Trek: The Next Generation and taught millions of kids the joy of books as the host and co-creator of Reading Rainbow on PBS. Paste editor-in-chief Josh Jackson sat down with Burton during SXSWi, and you can watch the interview in the player below.
