Imaginary Cities, the brainchild of Marti Sarbit and Rusty Matyas, took Canada by storm in 2011 with its debut release, Temporary Resident. The band toured extensively through 2012 in support of the album, which received much critical acclaim, and opened for the likes of the Pixies and Ra Ra Riot.

2013 brought the release of Imaginary Cities’ second album, Fall of Romance, and it doesn’t disappoint. The lead single, “Bells of Cologne”, displays many of the band’s strong suits and you can check out the premiere of the video for the single in the player below. The running percussion lines and swelling vocals are matched by the quick cuts and barrage of images in this sci-fi inspired video.
