Elizabeth Ziman, the namesake of Brooklyn band Elizabeth & the Catapult, is finally back with latest album Like It Never Happened, an 11-song collection that marks the band’s first since 2010’s The Other Side of Zero.

That’s not to say Ziman hasn’t kept busy musically in the past few years: she’s toured with Kishi Bashi and made music as a solo artist, and Like It Never Happened reflects the growth Ziman has made in that time. Produced by former bandmate Dan Molad along with Peter Lalish (both of Lucius), this latest work was inspired largely by Ziman’s recent foray into guitar, allowing for a new sound that expands beyond the rich piano fans came to know on Taller Children and The Other Side Of Zero.

Like It Never Happened is set for release on Jan. 21 via Scratch Back/Thirty Tigers, but you can listen to the album in its entirety in the player below.
