Hollow & Akimbo are gearing up for the release of their self-titled LP next month, but fans won’t have to wait that long to get a taste of something new. The band, a three-piece that now consists of Jon Visger, Brian Konicek and Mike Higgins, obviously lends itself well to remixes, considering the endless cominations of short clips that make up their sound. Now Hollow & Akimbo’s “Singularity” has been remixed by Ghostly international artist Osborne for a remix package out today, and the result is a dreamy take on the original.
“Osborne reimagined “Singularity” as a beautiful, chilled-out daydream of a song,” said Visger. “His version makes me want to hop in a car and just drive under blue skies and clouds, listening on repeat for hours.”
