Minneapolis band Farewell Milwaukee has had quite the local reputation for charming an audience for years now, but with their most recent release Can’t Please You, Can’t Please Me, the band has begun to break new ground with listeners all over the country.
Can’t Please You, Can’t Please Me was largely recorded live in studio, maintaining the same fresh approach to each song’s performance that fans in Minneapolis and beyond fell in love with on stage.
“It allowed us to feed off each other’s energy,” says keyboardist Adam Lamoureux. “There’s a lot of flex and give in our music when we play live, so that seemed like the best way to re-create that energy in the studio.”
