Video Premiere: Greylag - "Another"

August 27, 2014  |  11:30am

Portland-based trio Greylag takes their name from a particular kind of goose, the one from which all geese ultimately evolved. It’s a species known as the last to migrate, doing things on their own time in a way that feels distinctly independent, making it a rightful namesake for a band who has done their own sort of migration and evolution since 2012’s The Only Way to Kill, a seven-song EP and the band’s debut. Now, two years later, Greylag returns with a full-length produced by Phil Ek (Fleet Foxes, Band of Horses).

In anticipation of the self-titled album’s release, the band has prepared a live music video for their single, “Another.” Check it out in the player above. Greylag is set for release on Oct. 14 via Dead Oceans.
