Some song lyrics lend themselves especially well to visual representation, a fact that graphic designer and illustrator Mico Toledo has taken advantage of in his Music Philosophy prints.

Toledo’s blocky, festive images give a new gravity to popular song lyrics, and his chosen words run the gamut from U2 and Pearl Jam to Bob Dylan, The Smiths and Blind Melon. His site says that he combined his two loves—music and typography—because he had “nothing better to do,” but the appealing results indicate a serious eye for design.
