"Listen Sister, Don't Date a Hipster" video by Ménage à Twang

Ménage à Twang may be from Brooklyn, but the all-girl comic-country trio may have to look outside of Williamsburg for their men. High-school teacher/poet Emily Moore, feminist scholar Jessica Del Vecchio and TV producer Rachel Levy released their self-titled debut in 2008 with songs like “Secret Conservative Side,” “Let’s Share a Studio and Temp” and “Good Face/Bad Art.” Their video for “Listen Sister, Don’t Date a Hipster” warns against the dangers of dating a guy two sizes smaller than you since “you’ll never be more than his favorite obscure Williamsburg-based indie rock band.”
