The Best Inception Trailer Mashups and Remixes

With every ubiquitous blockbuster comes the deluge of trailer remixes, mashups and dubs on the YouTubes.

Just as James Cameron’s Avatar was met with a barrage of videos mostly highlighting the film’s structural and thematic similarities to Disney’s Pocahontas, so has Christopher Nolan’s summer hit Inception become serious fodder for folks with some editing software and entirely too much time on their hands.

As with any YouTube parody trend, there are obviously quite a few duds. But some of the mash-ups are just too funny not to pass on — Gene Wilder’s crazy comes out in full in a Willy Wonka recut and Leo DiCaprio and Ellen Page’s other roles get nods in “Inception-Juno-Island.”
