The Incredible HALKa Loves You

With the ever-growing popularity of Marvel films leading us towards the release of The Avengers, it’s only natural that a slew of knock-offs and parody films featuring somewhat familiar characters would be floating around. But none compare to HALKa.

A group of film students in Bangladesh put their own spin on the familiar childhood super hero, and we here at Paste think that the trailer is too good not to share. HALKa features elements of the Incredible Hulk with Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde thrown in for good measure. A scientist discovers a potion that allows him to increase in size, strength and, of course, skin color. Things to watch for during this trailer: Bullies pants-ing and publicly flogging a man till his skeleton shows, a pedi-taxi driver that you’d never want to stiff, a bicyclist and a tank playing chicken and the HALKa loves you. If the film is as great as the trailer, we can’t wait.
