Perhaps it’s the infamously dirty water. Maybe it was the former agony of 86 years without a single World Series Championship. It could just be life with an utterly indecipherable mayor. Whatever the reason, the city of Boston’s got a decent sense of humor.

Not too long ago, the Bost— ahem, New England Patriots’ “stah” quarterback Tom Brady was in a car accident, just days before the team’s season opener against the Cincinnati Bengals. (Don’t worry, though, Brady was only shaken up a bit and didn’t need hospitalization.) Instead of agonizing over their fantasy teams, the funnypeople over at the Boston-based Improv Asylum imagine how that emergency call must’ve sounded.
