Those of you who know your countercultural history probably know a thing or two about the lengthy list of famous feet that have been laced into a pair of Doc Martens over the years.
It shouldn’t come as a surprise then that to celebrate a half-century of business, the revered boot company has enlisted 10 artists to record special videos for their website.
For their Doc Martens tribute, The Raveonettes covered The Stone Roses’ “I Wanna Be Adored.” The video features a hip, old lady and a younger girl shopping in a fish market, bonding over cigarettes and playing checkers.
