Good old Steve Albini. It’s easy to admire him, but it’s also easy for the internet to use him as a punching bag. In a recent, excellent chat with GQ, Albini made headlines by talking trash on Sonic Youth (“They chose to join the mainstream culture and become a foot soldier for that culture’s encroachment into my neck of the woods by acting as scouts.”), fashion (“I think fashion is repulsive.”) and even the publication interviewing him (“I hope GQ as a magazine fails.”).

Enter Mad Steve Albini.

In the grand and ever-growing tradition of fake and often-angry celebrity impersonator Twitter accounts (see Drunk Hulk or Gary J.
