Awesome of the Day: Guy Watches Julie & Julia Every Day for a Year, Blogs About It

As we all know, in Julie & Julia, Amy Adams’ character Julie Powell tackled a new Julia Child recipe every day for a year and blogged about it. Now, Lawrence Dai, a Northwestern student who apparently has a lot of spare time on his hands, has committed himself to watching Julie & Julia every day for the next year and blogging about it.

The Lawrence/Julie & Julia Project features hilarious posts ranging in topic from “Are Lobsters Really That Hard to Cook?” to “How Is This Guy Not Mark Ruffalo?” Rai even crafted a “Julie & Julia By The Numbers” post, just in case you were wondering how many times the word “butter” is said in the flick (answer: 16).
