The Very Best Sells T-Shirts for Invisible Children

The Very Best, hot off the release of their album Super Mom earlier this year, is selling awesome t-shirts for the non-profit organization Invisible Children. The band made the announcement yesterday via their official twitter account. Invisible Children is a grassroots-led organization that “use the power of media to inspire young people to help end the longest war in Africa.” Their work involves using a variety of media to work on a variety of Central African issues from education to peace.

Mwamwaya was born and raised in Malawai and later moved to London where he met the DJ duo Radioclit to form their collaboration, The Very Best. Their work has always held strong ties to their singer’s musical, cultural and geographic roots. When you buy a t-shirt, 100 percent of the profits will go to assisting Invisible Children in their mission.
