Steve Jobs Tributes From Around The Web
In light of the news of technology visionary Steve Jobs’ passing, a number of great tributes have popped up around the web.
The New York Times has an interactive chart in their Technology section that presents the majority of Jobs’ 317 patents with accompanying graphics.
Business Insider has a great slideshow of Jobs from his childhood home and meeting of Steve Wozniak all the way to the most recent Apple conferences.
Poynter has a large collection of the magazine, newspaper and website front pages that were changed to feature tributes to Jobs after news of his death was made public.
Taiwan-based Next Media Animation released a charming tribute to Jobs. They had previously made a humorous animation about Jobs’ alleged “reality distortion field” that he was able to project over Apple consumers, as well as inserting cameos of Jobs into many of their news animations, and releasing a longer tribute earlier in reaction to initial rumors of Job’s death following his resignation from his CEO position at Apple.
