Led Zeppelin’s iconic/clichéd masterpiece “Stairway to Heaven” has been the muse behind more epic-minded rock groups, fantasy nerds and people who pretend to be good at guitar than perhaps any other song in the history of rock ‘n’ roll. Now it seems to have also inspired designers, particularly 20-year-old Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design student Arthur Analts, who has custom-crafted a Led Zeppelin ladder.
Sleek, all-white and imprinted with the famous Led Zeppelin logo, the ladder possesses a unique, highly ergonomic design: It’s able not only to lay flat against the wall as most ladders do, but its ends are angled to fit against a corner of a room, either at an angle of 45 degrees or 25 degrees. No longer does one have to worry about the ladder sliding along the wall against a corner and falling over—its geometry keeps it firmly in place. Plus, each individual step has a rung on either side, allowing items to be hung easily without having to climb the ladder first.
The Led Zeppelin ladder is produced on a made-to-order basis — contact info@analts.com for more info. For a visual demonstration of its functionality, watch the video below:
