Watch the Cast of Mad Men (Sort Of) Sing "You Keep Me Hangin' On"

With nothing but the headline, “We always knew this show was lyrical” posted above this video, this character montage is an unexpected treat for Supremes and Mad Men fans alike.

The Supremes track “You Keep Me Hangin’ On” originally topped the Billboard Hot 100 in 1966 with an all-female rendition. The track has resurfaced surfaced under the voices of Wilson Pickett, The Box Tops, Rod Stewart, The Chipmunks, Kim Wilde, Reba McEntire, Vanilla Fudge and even the cast of Glee have taken the song under their wings. And if you’re a fan of the show, it’s no surprise that the women of Mad Men would want their shot at a rendition of the song.
