Dogfish Head—the craft beer company based out of Rehoboth Beach, Del., that we named our favorite American brewery of the last decade—released today a hilarious infomercial for a new product called Randall the Mini Enamel Animal. The advertised product is basically a portable version of the company’s “Randall the Enamel Animal” that, according to Dogfish Head founder Sam Calagione, is “a sophisticated filter system that allows the user to run draft beer through a chamber of whole leaf hops, spices, herbs, fruit, etc. so that the alcohol in the beer strips the flavor from whatever you add and puts it in the beer.”
Calagione is also featured as the energetic spokesperson in the infomercial for the product that improved his own beer, not to mention his social and love life. The infomercial even features an endorsement from a bearded guy from Texas named “Charles Norris” who has a striking resemblance to a certain Walker, Texas Ranger. While it doesn’t look like we’re going to be able to purchase one of these Mini Enamel Animals any time soon (well, probably ever), you can still check out the hilarious ad for it below.
