Google Celebrates Bob Moog's Birthday with a Playable Doodle

From time to time, Google uses its immense Internet reach to amuse its scores of users. Wednesday morning, folks got a fully-functional Moog synthesizer to play with on Google’s homepage as something of a birthday gift to its inventor, Robert Moog, on what would have been his 78th birthday.

Everything down to the filters, a functioning mod wheel and oscillators are faithful to Moog’s original creations. Users can record, play back and share their songs on Google Plus. Well played, Google.
