LA’s 1988 Gallery To Host Epic Avengers-Themed Art Show

In case you weren’t already aware or standing in line at your local movie theater, The Avengers superhero super-film opens tonight at midnight (or tomorrow for those with day jobs). Tonight, however, one Los Angeles art gallery will open its special exhibit featuring artists inspired by Marvel’s superheroes.

The 1988 Gallery’s show, simply titled, “Assemble,” has all kinds of original art, posters and prints on display and for sale. Plus, the majority of the pieces cost less that $50.

Luckily for Avengers fans across the country who can’t make it to LA, Steve ‘Frosty’ Weintraub took a slew of photos for Collider. We’ve posted some of our favorites below, but head over to Collider and 1988 Gallery’s websites for more images and information.
