Watch a Mrs. Doubtfire Trailer -- If It Were A Horror Film
Everyone remembers Mrs. Doubtfire, the beloved 1993 family film about a recently divorced dad who pretends to be a British nanny in order to see more of his kids without their knowledge. His get-up involved a latex mask, fat suit, women’s outfit and English accent — all of which could have been part of the makings of a really creepy horror film.
Peter Javidpour, a coder, illustrator and, as he describes himself on his Twitter, “[maker of] things you’ll never need” from Santa Monica, Calif., saw the potential and re-edited parts of Mrs. Doubtfire to create a trailer for a truly chilling movie, one where the dad stares menacingly at his ex-wife out the window, the kids scream for someone to call 911, and the latex mask is half-off, barely clinging to his face. And somehow, it all makes perfect sense. Watch below.
