In fact, it can now be used for something much more important—to find out what pop culture fiends refer to as a celebrity’s “Bacon Number.” Just type in any celebrity’s name followed by “Bacon number” (without quotes) to see how far removed they are—professionally-speaking—from Kevin Bacon.
