Rated G Reimagines Movies and TV Shows as Animated Cels

Once reserved for children, animation has attracted new audiences for the past two decades. South Park, Archer and Family Guy all have themes more suited for middle age than middle school.

Artist Justin White has kept busy showcasing his original work on Threadless and now he’s turning our favorite pop culture moments into animation for an upcoming art show in Los Angeles. For those of us who can’t make the trip to see the admittedly awesome artwork up close, SlashFilm has the entire show available to view on the technological device of our choosing.

White re-imagines scenes from such classic films as The Breakfast Club, Casablanca and Fargo, as well as current television favorites like Breaking Bad and Community. The complete work includes 30 pieces of art. A few are available for your viewing pleasure below and head here for the rest.

If you’re in the Los Angeles area, be sure to check out White’s show Nov. 16-30 at Gallery 1988.
