In case you weren’t aware, LEGO building can extend far beyond simply following along with an instructional booklet. Oakland-based “LEGO artist” Alex Eylar has put together a series of high-quality images of LEGOs he arranged to depict scenes from some of cinema’s most classic films. Covering everything from Psycho to The Godfather to The Big Lebowski, Eylar’s scenes are remarkably accurate considering he’s using only plastic blocks to depict the settings and characters. Check out a gallery of some of the films he’s chosen to portray below. (via Reddit)

You can also visit Eylar’s Flickr page, Profound Whatever, to view more of his exquisite LEGO creations.
