We just got our first teaser trailer for the new season of Mad Men, and now AMC has released this incredible poster of season six art. If the poster immediately has a spot-on classic ‘60s ad charm, it was no mistake.

As the New York Times points out, the Mad Men crew got magazine illustrating guru Brian Sanders—a 75-year-old artist now living in Cambridge, England—to illustrate the iconic poster. In the article, creator Matthew Weiner says he looked through commercial illustration books for inspiration for this season’s promotion. His marketing team couldn’t recreate it, so they just went straight to the man behind many favorites:

“Finally,” Weiner told The New York Times, “they just looked up the person who had done all these drawings that I really loved, and they said: ‘Hey, we’ve got the guy who did them. And he’s still working. His name is Brian Sanders.’ ”

There’s some things in the poster that have us wondering: The two Don Drapers, the police behind him and how he’s standing at two intersecting one-way streets. Let us know your take on the poster in the comments section.

Take a look at the poster below, and read the full profile on Sanders here.
