Fallon's "Tebowie" Sings About Tebow's New Contract with the Patriots

After being released from his ill-fated contract with the Jets, Tim Tebow signed with the New England Patriots this week to fill Tom Brady’s shoes…well, as a backup quarterback. You know, just in case of total calamity. Received with laughter from many, the gags only continued last night when Jimmy Fallon resurrected his glam-rock footballer hybrid, “Tebowie,” to sing about it: to the tune of David Bowie’s “Rebel Rebel” this time.

“You were on the Jets, your arm is a mess/ You can’t throw a pass, so they started Sanchez/ You’ve got your old Heisman but you still got fired,” Tebowie sings. Ouch.
