Albuquerque Journal Prints Breaking Bad-Related Obit
Thanks to the kindhearted efforts of high school science teacher David Layman and others at the Unofficial Breaking Bad Fan Tour, proper respects have been paid to Walter White with an obituary in section 4A of the Oct. 4 edition of the Albuquerque Journal.
The obituary says White died after a long battle with lung cancer—well, that and a gunshot wound. The obituary also requests that donations to drug prevention charities be given instead of flowers. Layman, who is a fan of Breaking Bad, said that he was “in the pilot, and putting the obit in the paper was fitting, because the series was based in Albuquerque and it provides some of us some closure.”
The city is still reeling from the 2009 Wayfarer 515 plane crash that resulted in large amounts of property damage and a badly singed pink teddy bear.
