For the third year in a row Jimmy Kimmel told parents to tell their kids they ate all the Halloween candy, film it and send it into the show. That wasn’t enough this year, though. He also sent writer and correspondent Cousin Sal to prank trick-or-treaters on Halloween night by offering them clean laundry, free reign at a full salad bar (sneeze guard and all) and more as they approached his house in search of candy.
If Kimmel’s Halloween pranks prove anything, it’s that the best time to trick someone is when they’re at their most vulnerable, and there’s clearly nothing more vulnerable and gullible than kids when candy is just out of their reach.
