If you’ve ever found yourself wondering how Mario Kart characters would look in Nicolas Winding Refn’s film noir Drive, today’s your lucky day. In the fake trailer for Kart, created by Dr. Coolsex Comedy, Mario takes over the role of the Driver (famously portrayed by Ryan Gosling in the film) and joining him are Princess Peach (stepping into Carey Mulligan’s shoes), Bowser, Luigi, Toad, Waluigi and Wario. While the mashup may be a little late—Drive was released in 2011—it nevertheless offers both a new and nostalgic spin on the cinematic masterpiece.
