Black Sabbath Reunion Looking More Likely to Happen

In a recent interview with Planet Rock, former Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi divulged that a full-band reunion could happen in the future.

Iommi stated that he, singer Ozzy Osbourne, bassist Geezer Butler and drummer Bill Ward are all on board with the possibility of a Black Sabbath reunion and have even gotten together to rehearse. Osbourne recently stated there was a “very, very strong possibility” the band would be doing something in the near future. “We’re talking, we’re all talking to each other,” Iommi said in the interview. “We’ve met up, had a play and it was great.”

However, Iommi did caution that no official plans have been solidified yet, stating they would “have to see” before officially announcing plans for a new album or tour, acknowledging that, with any full-fledged reunion “it’s a bit more involved than that.”
