Around Paste HQ, we like to think we have a pretty swell time on the job, but apparently we got nothing on the Connected Ventures folks, who recently did a lip-sync video tribute of sorts to Harvey Danger’s ‘90s one-hit, “Flagpole Sitta.” Now, depending on how old you are, you may have fond or fight-inducing memories of this song, but surely you can agree what a fine time these folks are having. And sometimes, don’t you just want to have a little fun? Enjoy:

How about I saw that last night (on Stereogum) and had two thoughts: A) It is only a matter of time before someone at Paste mentions this. B) It is only a matter of time before someone at Paste suggests that we do something like that.
I’m one for two so far…
Good lord, what’s the average age of that office? 16? I’m pretty sure some of those kids weren’t even in 5th grade yet when that song was on the radio. Don’t I sound like a grumpy 28-year-old.
Actually, that song reminds me of some of the glory days of 99x in the ATL when it first got started and would play nearly anything you requested…
Remember when they played Morrisssey, then Peter Murphy, then The Church? That was me.
