Air Traffic’s US Debut Setlist

As a child one of my favorite hobbies was collecting stuff. First it was keychains, then stamps, then foreign coins, then rubber ducks. I even collected Olympic Pins and subscribed to Pindemonium magazine (little did I know that this magazine was the work of future-Paste-editor-in-chief Josh Jackson! It’s a small world after all… )

Most recently I have been collecting setlists. As an avid concertgoer, I find setlists to be extremely fascinating. Some are prepared in advance, others scribbled down on the spot. I have setlists written on electrical tape, paper towels, postcards, manilla envelopes, etc. My roommates humor me and let me hang them on the walls of our loft as if they are artwork. I’ll post some from my collection in the coming weeks…

Went to CMJ this year and was very excited to add this Air Traffic setlist to my collection. The four-piece outfit from Bournemouth, UK, made their US debut at our Paste Presents show at the Living Room, in conjunction with The Militia Group and Peroni. I was very impressed and I am sure you will be hearing a lot from these lads in the future. The stateside release of the debut album, Fractured Life, will be out in February on Astralwerks. If you want to be ahead of the game, though, refer to the setlist below and see if you can locate any of these songs online… the band’s MySpace page is a good place to start.

Look for Paste‘s “Backstage Pass” feature in our November issue, where we asked The Flaming Lips, The Roots, The Decemberists and Fountains of Wayne to breakdown their Bonnaroo set lists for us… interesting read. More from that issue available here.

Any other setlist collectors out there?
