PaMaDoCoBloNaBloPoMoMo 2008: It begins! (Tomorrow!)

Along with National Novel Writing Month, tomorrow's also the first day of yet another installment of National Blog Posting Month, NaNoWriMo's lower-impact, higher-tech cousin. While NaNoWriMo happens only once every November, any month can be NaBloPoMo: Just pick one, sign up, register your blog, and then post to it every single day that month.

Sounds easy enough, right? I'm not so sure, but I'm about to find out for myself.

Beginning tomorrow, Nov. 1, I'm embarking upon my very own, first-time NaBloPoMo-- with a twist. Every day, with a few detours, I'll randomly select one other NaBloPoMo participant (one from each letter of the alphabet, as listed on the November 2008 blog roll) and take a look at how they're doing on their own NaBloPoMo adventure. What are they writing about? What's going on in their lives? What are their daily blogging tactics? Can they make it through 30 days of non-stop bloggery? Can I? Can any of us?

In the spirit of ridiculous abbreviations, I'm calling my quest PaMaDoCoBloNaBloPoMoMo, short for Paste Magazine Dot Com Blogs National Blog Posting Month Month. Duh. Annnd I'm already winded.

Care to join me? Sign up for yourself, then leave a comment here to let me know. Are you a NaBloPoMo veteran? Leave me some words of wisdom! And be sure to check back here (every day... until December... oh God I am going to die) for the first-ever (and maybe only-ever... dear sweet Lord... what am I getting myself into) PaMaDoCoBloNaBloPoMoMo (am exhausted just typing it... fatigue... setting... in... must... sustain... for... 30 days... omg wtf BloPoMo).

Happy blogging!
