Starting on Jan. 11, 2008, her 49th birthday, Kathy G. from Missouri decided that she was going to do one new thing every day. On top of that, she was going to blog about it. So NaBloPoMo has been a total breeze for her, I'm sure. (As for me, I am growing weary. PaMaDoCoBloNaBloPoMoMo is feeling about as long as its ludicrous acronym.)
This month alone she has made and eaten a stack of marshmallows, visited a pet cemetary and eaten a candy bar with a knife and a fork. Less recently, she learned how to make a noose.
Nothing ground-breaking, but think about it: What was the last new
thing you did? And did you do one the day before that? And the day
before that?
Today, I'm... wearing a new sweater? Does that count? I've never worn
it before. Actually, that's untrue. I tried it on in the store. So
that's out. Um, well. Tonight for dinner I might be going to a new
restaurant; what about that? No? Fine. Point taken. This is tough.
Kathy At 49, I salute you. Keep on doing those
new things, and may your 50th year be full of even more discoveries.
(PS: Catching up on both my "K" and "L"-named blogs today after yesterday's weird detour into the world Troll 2 and Radiohead.)

Thanks for the kind review of my blog!
