Ah yes...waiting in line at the border immigration. Things go smoothly and soon we are outta there and crossing the St Lawrence river into lovely Montreal. Love this town and love Quebec City as well. Lots of fond memories in the province of Quebec.
Jacob and I walk thru some icy cold winds to a "threadbare" hotel for
day room showers. We were here earlier this year in July. Back then
people were on the streets, hanging out at cafes and bars, and enjoying
the outdoors but now faces look down and are barely visible from all
the scarves and hats. It feels like it's gonna snow. We keep a steady
eye on the Weather Channel.
Inside the venue of Le National the backdrop is being set thanks to the wonderful crew and staff. This place has a great vibe. Cuff The Duke open the show. They have some great tunes and harmonies as well as a sweet 12-string Rickenbacker guitar, violin and a beat up old Gibson J-45 acoustic guitar. Good aesthetics, gentlemen.
