Good morning sunshine. Now I know we are nearing home.
I look outside and Jacob and Karin are walking through a used-car lot
and checking out a vintage motorcycle with the owner. Martin and I hear
of several good breakfast options and settle on John's suggestion of
Mexican food a few doors down. We pass several thrift and army surplus
stores. The barber shop is closed. The streets are wide and the air
surprisingly clean.
Time
melts into a slow Monday afternoon here and as we load in gear to the
Gothic Theatre, the gentleman whom we met in Marfa appears. Jacob and
he converse about latin albums from the 1970's and motorcycle rides on
the Pan American Highway.
For dinner a bunch of us go next door for some of Moe's BBQ and Bowling before ramping up to the big night at the Gothic, sparks and all, in the post-Halloween splatter.

Where Have All The Weird Girls Gone?…

...curious about those fluffy new Calexico members on the photo, they're sooo cuuute! :-)
