Ben Stiller Helps Haiti Stay Stillerstrong

After visiting Haiti in 2009, Ben Stiller decided to start raising money to support the Save the Children School in Cévérine. Stiller raised more than $300,000 with his Stillerstrong fundraiser, a comical headband version of Lance Armstrong’s Livestrong campaign.

Since the earthquake in Haiti in Jan. 2010, Stiller has expanded his campaign to rebuild schools for children affected by the catastrophe. To encourage contributors, the humanitarian actor announced recently that the the person who joins his fundraising team and raises the most money by Feb. 9 will win two tickets to the “Help Haiti Event” in New York City on Feb. 11. The event, hosted by Stiller, will honor the Haitian relief efforts of fellow actor-turned-humanitarian Sean Penn.

All those who donate will be entered to win a personally signed Stillerstrong headband. One headband will be given away each day until Feb. 11.
