Festival for Humanity to Benefit Select Charities

Festival for Humanity, a brand new four-day music and art festival, will feature The New Pornographers, The Misfits, Soul Asylum and others.

The Vernon, New Jersey festival has been organized to benefit various suicide prevention, health and nutrition charities. PostSecret, Music For Humanity, To Write Love on Her Arms, PETA, Invisible Children and the American Red Cross are a few of the charities that will be participating in the festival’s Humanity Village.

There is no charge to the charities who set up an information booth within the Humanity Village, and the festival is still accepting applications. Woodfired Managment, the event sponsor, has pledged 10 percent of ticket proceeds to the charities of Humanity Village.
