Justin Townes Earle - The Good Life [Bloodshot]Middle named after one legendary songwriter and born of another, Justin Townes Earle has a bright, bright future ahead of him. The Good Life was sadly ignored by many (though not the American Music Association, nor Paste's own Andy Whitman), but perhaps his forthcoming album, Midnight at the Movies, will change that. It arrives in March via Bloodshot, and a little birdie tells me you may be reading about the young country songwriter in an upcoming issue of a certain magazine that boasts signs of life in music, film and culture. Keep an eye out.

The Thomas Function album is my favorite of the year. It's incredible. The Black & Whites are not far behind.
I saw Justin Townes Earl perform live this summer, he was awesome. I love the album too.
