Of all the varieties of ersatz ephemera making headway in an increasingly digitalized music industry, the gig poster has recently emerged as my favorite. More often crafted as an artistic pursuit rather than actual show promotion, there are a slew of talented poster artists and studios turning out artful, frame-worthy memorabilia these days. 

Really, what better way is there to remember a great show or tour than with a well-designed, lovingly screen-printed piece of art that you can enjoy every single day and never have to wash? (Can't say that about your favorite band t-shirt, can you?)
